True Lacrosse welcomes new opportunities for growth

ALEXANDRIA, VA, November 19, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ — True Lacrosse is pleased to announce it has merged with Dominion Liberty Lacrosse to join our True Virginia program, effective immediately.

True Lacrosse is excited to build on what Dominion Liberty Lacrosse created while continuing to provide the Northern Virginia lacrosse community with excellent training, instruction, and even more opportunities for competition and national exposure.Since its founding in 2008, True Lacrosse has grown to host programs in over 18 states, training and developing girls and boys across the country and helping hundreds of players continue their careers in college.

The True method provides a comprehensive approach to establishing a firm foundation for players to grow their game: more training hours, professional coaching, elite tournaments, and thorough recruiting guidance are the cornerstones of the True experience.

“I am excited for this new adventure with True Lacrosse,” Dominion Liberty Lacrosse Founder Erin Hellmold explained. “I wholeheartedly believe in their organization and their mission. They have created a culture prioritizing the development of the players in all aspects of their game and life! This partnership will provide enormous opportunities and experiences for our players, families, coaches and the community. I am looking forward to growing this ‘family’ together!”

Suzanne Rich, Girls Director of True Lacrosse, is thrilled to bring the True experience to Northern Virginia.

“I am incredibly excited about our partnership with Dominion Liberty Lacrosse,” Rich said. “Building off the strong foundation already built by Erin Hellmold, we expect our partnership to be a seamless one. We believe strongly that our mission, vision and values are similarly aligned with Dominion Liberty, which should make our relationship powerful.”

True Lacrosse Virginia will kick off with its first-ever tryouts for new players on January 23 for interested boys and girls. At that time, new players will have the opportunity to try out for True Virginia and be evaluated for True National teams. Keep an eye out for more details about a free clinic open to all (2022’s-2031’s) on December 4. In addition to these events, we will begin holding training for boys and girls in the northern Virginia region starting this winter (December 5-January 16, Winter Warmer Sessions).
