ATLANTA, GA, July 11, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ — Taking place during National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, the GET OFF THE COUCH: Mental Health Concert and Conference, curated by Creative Connections, is a free community event being held Saturday, July 15, 2023, from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at the New Black Wall Street Market located at 8109 Mall Pkwy in Stonecrest, GA. The conference will focus on accessible mental healthcare services, treatment, and resources in communities of color.

There will be interactive discussions led by industry professionals and mental health advocates, live entertainment, vendors, resource providers, health screenings, and more. Panels will cover topics such as responding to youth mental health struggles, relationships, maternal mental health, and the impotence of self-care.

The GET OFF THE COUCH: Mental Health Concert and Conference is sponsored by Atlanta Black Chambers, Dekalb County Board of Health, Emory University Urban Health Initiative, WellStart Initiatives, New Black Wall Street Market, and Inside Out Health and Beauty.
